This strategic engagement marked a significant step toward strengthening the university’s presence in the region and deepening its commitment to supporting aspiring scholars.
The session served as an eye-opening platform for Kenyan students to discover the wide range of academic opportunities available at Obuda University. Mr. Brian Goga, the Kenya Office Manager for Obuda University, played a central role by providing tailored guidance on academic programs, the admissions process, scholarship opportunities, and insights into student life in Hungary. His one-on-one conversations ensured that each student received personalized mentorship, helping them take confident steps toward an international academic journey.
A standout moment of the event was the interactive discussion on student life at Obuda University. Participants were eager to learn about the university’s vibrant and growing international student community, dynamic campus culture, affordable accommodation, and prospects for internships and research collaborations. There was particularly strong interest in the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship, a prestigious, fully funded program that provides international students with the opportunity to study in Hungary tuition-free, with additional support for living costs.
Importantly, the session also welcomed and addressed the needs of fee-paying students, who were equally engaged and curious about the application process, tuition fees, and available support services. Obuda University ensured that all participants—regardless of funding path—received comprehensive information to support their academic ambitions.
